RESULTS - Pukekohe Park Raceway Event

The club once again held our popular Pukekohe Park Raceway even on Aug 8th. The day included a Duathlon and cycle time trials all within the confines of the Pukekohe Racetrack.
This year also doubled as the North Island Interclub competition

ACT Social - viewing Le Tour

When: Sun 25 July 7.30am
Where: Ristretto, 778 Manukau Rd ,Royal Oak.

Come and join fellow triathletes to watch the individual TT that may decide “Le Tour” this is 2 days after the riders have done the Tourmalet and just one day before the march to Paris. It will be an action packed morning, including post viewing cycle ride options


Noosa Training Camp & Race

George & Dan who run TACT coaching are putting together a group for the famous Noosa Triathlon festival on 31st oct.
It includes a training camp so not only will you experience one of the best races Down Under, but also it will set you up perfectly for the summer. You'll establish some great camaraderie too.

News from TriNZ

TriNZ have a couple of upcoming events of interest.
The first is an initiative to target talented juniors with potential to race for NZ at the 2016 Olympics in Rio (Tri-4-Rio)
The second is a free Level 1 Technical Officials Course in Auckland. A chance to learn an important aspect of triathlon and give something back to the sport.

National Championship Results

Check out the forum section to see what a great contingent we had from the club competing at the National Champs in Wellington. Led by Patrick Harvey with 1st place in the 40-44, followed by a number of podiums and results which should earn World Champ qualification.

National Championships Eligibility

04. March 2010

The Contact Cup and Trophy races at the Contact Tri Series in Wellington on 13th March 2010 are part of the Tri NZ Standard Distance National Champs. To be eligible for a medal you need to be a member of Tri NZ prior to starting the event.

PLUS - if you want to be eligible for selection in the New Zealand team to race at the World Champs, you must also be a registered member of a triathlon club. Join the Auckland City Tri club online in our Membership section if that applies to you.


CLUB (UNISEX) RACE TOP

A reminder that the club has some fantastic race tops (see pic) which are only $25 (worth about $95). These are available by contacting Darragh Walshe(president@aucklandcitytri.co.nz) or Tony Sangster (info@aucklandcitytri.co.nz).

The largest sizes are not available at present.
